At Fireside, Group Learning is the cornerstone of our philosophy that music and arts education is most impactful when we work together! Group Courses are traditionally 12 weeks long and run 60-120 minutes once/week.
SKILL COURSES are Fireside's intro courses that give our students a strong foundation in voice, art, photography and instruments like guitar, ukulele, and drums within the first 12-week session.
PERFORMANCE COURSES are for students with 3-6 months of experience on their instruments or in their area of study and provide students with an opportunity to learn ensemble techniques and showcase their learning in a professional performance environment.
- Students do not need their own equipment to take part!
- Tuition is broken up into four monthly payments for all courses.

She truly believes that with the right technique and performance opportunities, anyone can learn to sing. My name is Katie O’Rourke and I have a BA in Art and Photography I have been active as an artist and photographer for 30 years and have learned how to teach people to find their own voice and vision as an artist, to truly feel free to create without the usual hinderances and stigmas surrounding art instruction. Learning creativity instead of following rules allows the student to truly learn and create from a place of originality and a never ending flow of creative thought while the skills and mediums are learned from this perspective. Being able to accurately copy a masterpiece is not creativity it is just skill, finding your own creative voice to express yourself with is mastery in the creative process and is fundamental to be an artist
